The Trialog Method
Trialog has developed a
method based upon Sherry Arnstein’s "Ladder
of Citizens Participation". It describes different
levels of influence, divided into eight steps - from "Non
Participation" to "Citizen Control". In
democracy work (BUFF) in the town of Strängnäs,
Ove Strand was one of the prime movers in converting Arnstein´s
approach into a useful, practical tool for analysis of
participation and influence.
In the Trialog version, the model has been ennobled and
